ABSI Aerospace & Defense Awarded EVE Contract to Support U.S. Air Force Test Pilot School
California, MD
ABSI Aerospace & Defense is proud to announce it is one of multiple awardees of the Event and Validation Execution (EVE) contract by the U.S. Air Force Test Pilot School (TPS) at Edwards Air Force Base. This significant award reinforces ABSI’s growing role as a trusted partner to the U.S. Air Force in developing the next generation of highly adaptive, critical-thinking test leaders.
Under the EVE contract, ABSI will provide instructor pilots (IPs) and instructor flight test engineers (IFTEs) to execute curriculum events in simulators, tactical aircraft, control rooms, and operations floors. This includes supporting both the Flight Test Course (FTC) and the Space Test Course (STC), delivering hands-on instruction that ensures TPS graduates are prepared to meet the unprecedented challenges of modern multi-domain warfare.
“This award underscores the extraordinary capabilities of our people and the confidence the Air Force has placed in ABSI,” said Chris Sacco, CEO of ABSI Aerospace & Defense. “We are humbled and honored to continue supporting the Air Force’s world-class test community. We view our involvement as a privilege, and it reflects the dedication and professionalism of our staff and their total commitment to mission success.”
The EVE contract highlights ABSI’s unique strength as a veteran-led, mission-focused company that brings operational realism, technical expertise, and agility to the defense community. With a cadre of experienced test professionals—including graduates of top U.S. test pilot schools, former astronauts and SETP Fellows—ABSI provides the depth of talent typically associated with much larger firms, while maintaining the responsiveness and adaptability of a small business.
This award comes at a pivotal moment as the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force seek to accelerate change and outpace adversaries in the rapid fielding of next-generation capabilities.
