ABSI Aerospace & Defense Promotes John Treutler to Chief Financial Officer

California, Maryland – July 21st, 2025

ABSI Aerospace & Defense is proud to announce the promotion of John Treutler to Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In this executive leadership role, Mr. Treutler will lead ABSI’s financial strategy and oversee the company’s financial operations, contracts administration, and pricing functions in support of continued growth and mission success.

Mr. Treutler brings over 30 years of defense and government contracting experience, including senior leadership roles in finance, operations, and program management.

Since joining ABSI in 2020, he has been instrumental in building scalable business systems, strengthening compliance and audit readiness, and aligning financial planning with strategic goals.

A retired U.S. Naval Aviator, Mr. Treutler’s military and civilian career includes extensive experience in test and evaluation, systems engineering, and organizational leadership. He holds an MBA and MS in Finance from Webster University, an MS in Operations Research from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School, and a BS in Mathematics from the U.S. Naval Academy. He maintains an active Top Secret/SCI clearance and is certified DAWIA Level III in both Program Management and Test & Evaluation.
