Senior UAS Requirements Analyst

The Senior Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Requirements Analyst will provide Joint Capabilities Integration and Development (JCIDS) expertise and requirements generation support for the Unmanned Aircraft Capabilities Integration Officer (CIO), Air Vehicle Integration Branch (AVIB), Aviation Combat Element (ACE)/Maritime Expeditionary Warfare (MExW) Integration Division within the Marine Corps Capabilities Development Command (MCCDC).  Responsibilities will include requirements analysis and assessment in support of Force Development and Design of Joint, Naval, and U.S. Marine Corps UAS capabilities, including Strategic, Organizational, and Tactical level UAS requirements, and the development of integrated capabilities and Concepts of Operations (CONOPS across the Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) and the Naval Force. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The Senior UAS Requirements Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Analysis and assessment of UAS requirements across Group 1-5 UAS categories
  • Engagement across the Marine Corps enterprise to ensure integrated UAS requirements development
  • Participation in studies and analysis efforts in support of UAS requirements generation
  • Development of draft/final products for the government customer in support of UAS requirements generation and associated executive-level briefs
  • Engagement with UAS stakeholders across the Community of Interest (COI) to staff and refine draft UAS requirements in support of the CIO
  • Integrated analysis of complimentary Marine Corps and Naval programs of interest to ensure integrated requirements generation for UAS-related programs of interest
  • Participation in working groups and enterprise-level engagement opportunities to represent UAS-related program equities in support of the government customer
  • Continual assessment of government and industry best practices and solutions to ensure currency/relevancy of UAS requirements generation in support of the Marine Corps and the Naval Force

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience in requirements generation or other relevant DoD 5000 Series Decision Support System (DSS) support for Marine Corps or Naval Programs
  • Knowledge and experience with Marine Corps Concepts of Operation (CONOPS), UAS operational integration, and requirements generation/MAGTF integration in support of Marine Corps programs of record.
  • Experience in working with analysis and assessment of emergent and future capabilities, including familiarity with Marine Corps studies and analysis efforts in support of force design and development for the Service.
  • Experience in supporting enterprise-level coordination and integration efforts across high-interest programs of record.
  • Experience in preparation for and supporting General Officer level decision-making processes and cycles.
  • Ability to travel in CONUS as required to support PWS requirements.
  • Able to pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter per the local Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention Program.
  • Must present a neat personal and professional appearance.

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior Marine Corps UAS operational experience preferred, but not required.
  • Familiarity with UAS tactical application and associated CONOPS integration across the Range of Military Operations (ROMO) in support of the Marine Corps and the Naval Force.
  • Defense Acquisition Workforce certification in Program Management or other relevant DSS certifications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Microsoft platforms such as SharePoint, and web-based collaborative resources (wiki’s, etc.).
  • Experience in data management, analysis, and integration in support of complex programs
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based collaborative resources such as SharePoint and Microsoft Teams
